Well at some level i still have this question too... But with experience and working regularly with Reiki you kinda develop an intuition about which forms of Reiki to use and if we need to combine many within 1 session. Also there is no formal no-no on this... I do combine various forms in one sessi...

I had a wonderfully powerful attunement. Felt a strong flow of energy throughout the body and it went for really long. I just didn't feel like waking from that meditative state! :-)

I felt warm all over specially on my whole spine. My back was warm for a whole day.
