what is pranayama exactly?

I see, ive been reading on balanceing them, i ca n understand why my root is outa wack, i move a lot and have a very insecure home. and very insecure relationships. I dont feel grounded and safe in the least, i need to work on feeling secured, i shoulkd finish school and get my car working for start...

Rather than pressing my palms together to self heal, cani lay my palms flat and use it? It seems to works just fine that way, but is it best to self heal palms together?

So for self healing with surya I should press my palms together and intend to self heal with surya shakti humbly? It said do the sane thing as for distant but I dot have to visualize my name on my hand when I self heal do I? And is it okay to self heal with it as I would usui palms flat moving them ...

When I am done with ayurveda Pranashakti would it be okay to attune to surya shakti as well? Or can I under go both at the same time?

Having much better meditations, and have started grounding self healing and healing of others continues well.
