The more stress you experience, the more difficult this can be to control. Overeating, too much exercise, and drinking alcohol in excess are also side effects of stress. Some people just choose one, and some people choose a mixture of coping mechanisms. You can use the level 1 of Usui Reiki with the intent of letting go of stress. It will actually be easier to do this at the first level, because the second level really does increase the amount of energy you have access to. When you increase your energy, everything gets stronger including the thoughts and emotions you are working to control. It would be easier to wait to be attuned again. There is no need to hurry.
