Why are you interested in attunements?

I am a Youth Pastor at a church, and also help out in a Holistic Health Clinic with a Medical Intuitive. I have studied a lot about Reiki in the past few weeks, and know that being attuned to Reiki would greatly improve my ability to help people, not only physically, but mentally and spiritually. I wish to get attuned so that I may better serve my church, my community, and humankind as a whole. It was a Reiki practicioner who helped me heal from a condition the doctors could not identify, and I wish to be able to help people the same way she helped me.

Additional information:
I have been studying energy work for about 6 months now. I am a clairaudient empath. My methods of helping people to heal at the moment include writing soothing music that helps balance their life. My duties in the Holistic Health Clinic is to visualize people as a "song", and find the parts of that "song" that are out of place, or out of tune. I then use energy (a lot of times through the medium of music) to correct the "song".
