As written in the kundalini manual, we need only to put our hands on healee's shoulder and reiki will flow to area where it is needed. Reiki will flow and fill all the potholes (area in need) of its own accord. My question is, what happen if the healee's chakra or nadis are block ? How will reiki flow to area need to be treated ? I am just curious :-\
What you refer to is the metaphor of throwing a bucket of water on a street and watching as it spreads out and goes into each pothole. Every pothole gets as much water as it takes to fill up and reach the level of the street. What you are adding to the picture is that sometimes there are things on the street which block the water from flowing into all the potholes. There may also be a storm drain, and it can take the water away before it reaches the potholes. Maybe also there are too many potholes and not enough water by far to fill them up. The problem with metaphors is that they tend to break down. Yes, it is entirely possible that you would be better off putting your hands on the healee's feet instead of the shoulders. The more you use your reiki, the more you will be guided by intuition and experience. If you find that it feels like your reiki is building up around your hands instead of flowing into the healee, then maybe you will want to move your hands until you find somewhere on the healee where the energy will flow instead. Maybe you will find that the healee isn't ready and there won't be a place which works best. Then again, maybe the energy flows too well, as if you are pouring water too close to a "storm drain" and you need to identify how and where the energy is leaking away first. It is okay to talk with the healee about this sort of thing. General chatting is not good because it distracts from the process, but that doesn't mean you can't talk at all. Again, go with your intuition and experience.
Again intuition and experience play vital role in treatment. Again it reminds me that I need to do many more healings (self and others) to built up my intuition. But, learning from others' experience would speed up the learning process
