I'm so thrilled to have been guided to this place - just at the moment where I am ready to pursue reiki more in depth. I am attuned to level 1 Usui Reiki, but haven't had the financial ability to go farther.
Once again, I find I am exactly where I am supposed to be.
I am a Wife, Mother, photographer, student of herbal medicine, music teacher to 100 kindergartners...and the list goes on. My interests are as varied as the world around - and I am always interested in learning more.
I suppose one question would be, should I request the level 1 attunement, or go directly to level 2? In reading the manuals, I already feel as if I've learned more than I was taught previously.
Blessings to all.

Tashi delek, Gail, and welcome to THC! You'll find so much information and great people here. I love it!
I wouldn't deign to advise you regarding which level to request, but I'm certain you'll receive the correct information soon.
Enjoy, and it's good to have you here.
Namaste.

Re: Hello to all!
Dear Gail,
Welcome to THC.
Glad that THC will be a part of your spiritual progress.
Assuming that you have read the notes from the attunement section & the Manuals you can directly take Usui Reiki level 2. No problem at all.
However if you strongly feel you have to start afresh you can opt for level 1.
Feel free to forward your queries without any inhibitions.
Please share your experiences with us, we are always glad to have them.
All the best in your spiritual path.
Blssings.

Re: Hello to all!
Thank you so much! I am looking forward to being part of this community.
I wanted to ask because there had been people I knew who'd been told that they needed to start fresh when going through a different master. So, I of course wanted to verify before I jumped into where I felt I should be.
