Rejuvenating with Panchakarma

Panchakarma or detoxification is the five process Ayurvedic purification treatment for eliminating toxins from the body to maintain healthy constitution. It constitutes 3 processes including pre process, proper process and post process. The pre process consists of oleation and sudation. During this process various massages and internal medications are administered. The toxins from various parts of the body collect in the intestine by Osmosis. The proper process is the eliminative phase of treatment. During this phase the collected toxins are eliminated by various treatment procedures such as Virechanam or purgation, Sneha Vasthy or oil Enema, Kashaya Vasthy or decoction enema, Nasyam or nasal administration and Vamanam or emesis. The post process is the rejuvenation phase of treatment. In this phase the body is rejuvenated from the detoxification process.
