Does reiki attunement create unwanted attachments to other reiki masters?

I came across this web page (see link below), which claims that by being attuned to reiki, we are attaching our crown chakra to all the other people who have been attuned, and this means we also attach ourselves to their problems. What is your take on this please?

Hello gem !
I had a look at the crystallhealing website and as logical being the only I have to say is this: 
If we are attached to all this people who have been attuned before and finally maybe have attune us as Reiki channels,how can we live today or even can walk and act like normal and healthy persons?
For example if I had to carry all negative energies of my teacher, and my teachers teacher and so on negativities and illnesses of all this people who have passed away or they are living by the moment surelly I should have been heavy ill or finally dead as well. 
You have to think only that lots of people are learning Reiki after solved (by Reiki sessions) problems they had!

If that is true,and if we have on mind that Reiki has nearly a century of history,I can not even imagine what should have have happened to all of us Reiki users! 
Think of it please ! 
Finally this is only my opinion and nothing more...

PS.The only attatchment between teacher and student is this of pure love and healthy relationship and nothing unusuall or strange !

I am grateful to your reply. I was feeling a little nauseous after my 1st attunement and was having a look on the net for other people's experiences. When I stumbled upon this, it made me question what I had just done!  I am glad to have heard your opinion because it reinforced the feeling I had that this person's reasoning was fear based. I think you are right, the only thing we may attach to is the energy of love. Thank you kindly:D

I am very happy for you ! It is has major importance to be comfortable and to have no fear about life energy (Reiki) 
I hope you enjoy your attunement and the flow of Reiki and that you are O.K now! 
Just practice alot and help your self and others as much as you can with this gift which is given to you!
And you will be paid in reverse from the universe!
And I trully beleave that "Someone does not find Reiki but Reiki finds him"!

I am happy your doubts are cleared.
John(Black_Ki) gave u a good explanation. Thank you John.
I request you gem to do a good study on Reiki.
With my experience of Reiki, & to compound it with the Reiki experiences of my Reiki Guru Martin Nazareth
& various other Reiki teachers I can strongly & assuringly can tell you Reiki can do no harm. There is no wrong way & right way of doing Reiki. Reiki has its own intelligence.
The symptoms you are getting after your attunements are normal. Each one has a different way of cleansing. I had cleansing & detoxification symptoms for 6 months when I was first attuned to Reiki.
I still have bouts of such symptoms on & off. After that you become a better individual.
Forget about the negativity of others, we ourselves are physically & mentally polluted by so many things. Reiki helps to get rid of those & change us for good.
