One old Indian myth sais that ones appone a time all people were gods.
But they abused so much their divinity that Brahma the Lord of Gods, decide to do arsis of this power and hide it to a place that to be impossible for humans to find it ever again...
So, that was a big problem, to find a good crypt.
When the elder Gods were invited to the Gods council to find an answer about this problem. they said to Brahma:
"Lets bury this divinity of humans deep into earth.
But the Brahma answered : "No,that's not enough, because the human will dig to find it.
Then the elder Gods answered :" At this case lets throw it in the abyss depths of the oceans"
But Brahma answered again : " No! Because sooner or later, the human will explore the depths of all oceans and it is sure that one day he will find it again and will bring it back to the surface."
Then the elder Gods came into a conclusion : "We don't know where to hide it, because it seems that there is no place on earth or in the sea, that the human will not reach someday...."
Then Brahma said :" Here what we will do with this...We will hide it in the deeper depths of his own self, because this is the only place that he will never think ever to search into..."
And the myth ends with the words:
From then on the human have done the tour of earth, explored the most, he climbed to highest mountains and sank into the oceans depths, and dug deep into the earth,by looking for something, which finally is inside him!
I hope you like this myth!
Light and Joy!

Re: An Old Indian Myth
Thats a lovely one John.
There is a lot of truth in that myth.
Even if we find a little from the depth of our minds we will do a lot better.
